THE general enquiries phone number at Warrington Borough Council is changing from April 2.

The number will change from 440000 to 443322.

The historical 444400 number will have automated voice options in place after this date to redirect callers to a customer services advisor.

Because its the council,

But if something doe,s want fixing you can wait forever,

The amount of complaints they get I,m suprised they didnt make it an 0845 number, They would rake in a fortune,

So they will have two enquiries lines - one with" automated voice options " ?and one without?


Presumably the second one is there for people who have speech difficulties - if that is the thinking, then it sounds a good idea.
