THREE supporters of the Cheshire Dogs Home are doing their bit to keep tails wagging at the Grappenhall centre.
Paul Rhodes, Tony Mundry and John Hewitt will be taking on a marathon bike ride of 155 miles in aid of the charity starting at Hull train station before crossing the finish line at the Knutsford Road kennels within 24 hours.
Paul said: “We have always donated bedding and food every year to the home and we’re are all dog owners with a soft spot for Staffordshire bull terriers which the home does see a lot of.
“We got together and had a chat about what else we could do to help and the bike ride idea was born.
“Since then we have been on our bikes, training hard and getting into shape.”
