Roadworks for two weeks on Wilderspool Causeway
ROADWORKS resumed today on Wilderspool Causeway.
National Grid is carrying on with work to install a new gas main.
It is taking place at the junction with Loushers Lane with temporary traffic lights in place.
They will be operated manually between 7am and 7pm.
The works will continue for around two weeks.

I was coming out of Morrisons this afternoon at 3.00pm and it I sat going no where while the Morrisons traffic lights changed THREE times. No one could go anywhere due to the back log of traffic from the temp lights on the Casueway/Loushers Lane.
The traffic down Greenalls Ave was making TWO lanes all the way to the security hut for Wilderspool Park.
