THE funeral of teenager Nathan Taylor will take place on Wednesday.

The service will begin at Walton Lea Crematorium at 2.20pm following a procession from Nathan’s home on Connaught Avenue in Padgate.

It will take in Warrington Collegiate, where the 18-year-old studied media, and Orford Park, where he often met friends.

Parents Chris and Amanda have asked well-wishers to donate money to charity instead of sending flowers.

Their chosen causes are Cheshire Search and Rescue, and Staffordshire Search and Rescue, two teams who helped searched for Nathan.

To do so, go to cheshire-sarteam.org/donate.html and ssart.org/donations.html.

Nathan, a former Bruche Primary School and Woolston High School pupil, went missing from a birthday party at the Bridge Bar in Latchford on January 26.

His body was found in the Manchester Ship Canal at Latchford Locks on February 1.

Police say there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
