Launch event for new community organisation

FIND out more about a new community association which has launched in Fairfield and Howley.
The Fairfield Community Association has been set up at the Fairfield and Howley Neighbourhood Project, in the old school., to help organise events, improve help, fight planning application and help get more funding for the area.
And a launch event to be held today, Thursday, between 3pm and 7pm will give everyone living in the ward more information.
The association needs help from volunteers to deliver newsletters, complete surveys, help with refreshments, contribute to the newsletter and more.
Clr Tony Higgins said: “The success of this venture and ultimately the quality of life in the Fairfield and Howley ward is partly dependent on our residents and business owners.”
