Man fined for being drunk in town centre

A MAN was fined after becoming aggressive towards ambulance staff taking him to hospital on Saturday.

Police say the man, in his 20s, was arrested on Mersey Street around 10.30pm when he was being taken to hospital with a cut to the head.

He was arrested for being drunk and disorderly and given an £80 fine and fixed penalty notice later in the evening.

Good god, they actually is police officers on the beat in Warrington then ? I thought they where all losing there jobs. All you get now is pcsos.

There are no thoughts of equality here then. Why are the people who are drunk and disorderly on a Friday night and in a drinking frenzy not treated in the same way? Another injustice in the Town Centre then! I would certainly restrict the issuing of Licenses then, in order to reduce the numbers if there are too many for the evening Police to be able to do their job.
