Two cars destroyed in Orford arson attack

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after two cars were torched in Orford.

Both vehicles were destroyed in the arson attacks.

They were set alight on Capesthorne Road between 9pm and 9.20pm on Monday.

Fire crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.

DC Laura Sadler, of Warrington CID, said: "It appears that both vehicles have been intentionally set on fire.

"We take all incidents of this nature extremely seriously and are doing all we can to trace the offenders responsible.”

Anyone with information can call police on 101 quoting incident number 826 of February 11.
