Rotary boss visits Peace Centre

THE president of Rotary International in Britain has toured the Peace Centre as part of an international peace campaign.

John Minhinick visited the Peace Centre on Tuesday to be given a tour by Nick Hulme, chief executive.

RIBI is an association of clubs where members volunteer time to help charities and community projects.

It is currently running a ‘peace through service’ initiative to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attack on Bridge Street.

Colin Parry, a member of Warrington Rotary Club, has previously won the RIBI international award for ‘world understanding and peace in Japan.
