Man in court following Latchford attack
A MAN has appeared in court following an attack that left a woman seriously injured in hospital.
Kevin Naylor, aged 49, of West Avenue, Orford, has been charged with section 18 wounding, criminal damage, breach of a harassment order and possession of an offensive weapon.
He did not enter a plea at Halton Magistrates Court today.
The defendant is due to next appear at Warrington Crown Court on Monday, March 4.
He was arrested on Monday after police were called to reports of an attack on Prescott Street in Latchford at 9am.
A 44-year-old woman was taken to Warrington Hospital with head and arm injuries, where she is in a stable condition.
