THIS car was smashed up during a head-on collision in Bewsey on Friday.

The Seat Leon, driven by a 33-year-old woman, was involved in the crash with a Vauxhall Corsa, driven by a 17-year-old man.

Police say the female driver was taken to Warrington Hospital to be treated for serious injuries including a broken wrist and ankle.

She claims the teenager, who was taken to hospital with minor injuries, was at fault for the crash.

A 32-year-old woman, a passenger in the Seat Leon, was also taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Police say they are not investigating the incident.

It happened at 10.29pm on Friday, February 1.

maybe he was breathalysed at the road side or drug use was clearly apparent so no need for further investigation is needed

If WG printed the whole story we wouldnt have to question the decision of the police,
Still, Nobody died so thats a blessing.

it must be clear someone was the cause of the accident, someone always is. they must have decided who was to blame and left it to the insurance companies to sort out?

but as you say we should have given up thinking WG did any reporting on it , it more likley was someone calling them telling them about it and sending a photo off their phone.
