Commissioner to hold surgeries in town

John Dwyer John Dwyer

CHESHIRE′S Police and Crime Commissioner has said his visit to meet residents in the town centre was a valuable trip.

John Dwyer asked people their views on priorities for police in Warrington.

He said: “What came across very clearly is the importance people attach to policing.

“They see it as an integral part of their lives and really value the concept of neighbourhood policing with its close links between themselves and their local police officers, police community support officers and special constables.

He added that 56 people completed questionnaires.

Mr Dwyer’s next visit to the town is on Tuesday, February 19 when he will hold surgeries at Lymm Library, Davies Way, between 10am and noon and The Gateway, Sankey Street between 2pm and 4pm.

To book an appointment call 01606 364000 or go to cheshire-pcc.gov.uk.

Plus, even if people did want to come and voice opinions...how many are you going to get attending in the middle of a working day...!

Waste of time & tax payers money!!
