Police concerned for missing man

POLICE are becoming ‘increasingly concerned’ for a missing man who may be in Cheshire.

Stephen Mathers, aged 49, has been missing from his Wirral home since Friday.

He was last seen leaving his home address on Banks Road, West Kirkby at around 11.30pm and has not contacted his family since.

Police say Mr Mathers is known to frequent Cheshire, as well as North Wales, Great Orme, London and the Lake District.

His car is a blue Saab 9.3 SE Turbo with a registration number of V350 KAM.

Officers are working to trace it.
