Get running shoes on for charity

RUNNERS taking part in this year’s BUPA Great Manchester 10k can help fundraise for equipment for Warrington Hospital children’s ward.

Children’s charity MedEquip4Kids need willing runners to sign up for the race and help raise cash for a new mobile v-pod, a 3D interactive screen to help distract children who are undergoing painful examinations or procedures.

This year’s run will take place on May 26 and will be followed by an exclusive after run party to celebrate participants’ achievements with family, friends and other MedEquip4Kids supporters and fundraisers.

Runners need to raise a minimum of £165 along with a £20 registration fee to take part for the charity.
