The snow on Bridge Street
SNOW storms returned to Warrington at rush hour on Friday.
The cold weather is likely to be shortlived though with temperatures predicted to rise this weekend and into early next week.

The snowfall has been the strongest of the week with many side roads becoming slippery for drivers.
Council gritters have been out since 5am on Friday. Forecasters are predicting the snow will turn to rain overnight.
