Shop plan for Total Fitness site agreed
PLANS to turn the former Total Fitness gym into a new store have been passed by councillors.
Members of Warrington Borough Council's development management committee agreed on Thursday night that the Winwick Road building could be reopened as a Range.
There were no objections raised at the meeting at Warrington Town Hall on Thursday night.
Councillors did though impose restrictions on developer Rob Foden as to what the scheme would look like.
This includes limits on car parking, new traffic signs and an agreement that some of jobs should stay local.
Around 120 jobs will be created when the shop opens.
