Past pupils invited to Sycamore Lane celebration before it becomes Chapelford Village Primary School

PUPILS and staff at Sycamore Lane Community Primary will be turning the clock back to mark the end of an era on Monday.
Uniforms will be swapped for 1960s clothing as the school celebrates 45 years on Sycamore Lane, Great Sankey, before it moves to Chapelford next month and becomes Chapelford Village Primary School.

Past and present pupils, staff and friends of the school are also invited to join the fun as the school will be open from 2 to 6.30pm.
The school’s original log book dating back to 1968 when Sycamore Lane first opened will be on show and pupils’ artwork.
For more information call the school on 721103 or e-mail SycamoreLane_Primary@warrington.gov.uk

I remember the children from Sycamore Lane having their lunch at Great Sankey Primary School. A few of us from Great Sankey Primary returned to sycamore Lane after the lunch period was over. I am not sure how official that was as I was never listed on their registers.
