THE council want to hear from the 56 people who were injured when an IRA bomb exploded on Bridge Street in 1993.

Officials are working with The Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation on a special commemorative event to mark the 20th anniversary of the bombing on March 16 and want to invite everyone who was affected.

Clr Terry O'Neill, leader of the council, said: "It is important to us that everyone in the town has the opportunity to come together in commemoration on Bridge Street or at the Peace Centre.

“We will never forget what happened but we must also come together to celebrate how we as community have remained united and moved forward together. “ Anyone who would like to be invited should send their contact details, including postal and email address, to communications@warrington.gov.uk or by post to Communications, 2013 Commemorative Event, Warrington Town Hall, Sankey Street, WA1 1UH.
