THIEVES stole a Help for Heroes charity box from a pub overnight on Sunday.

It was the third attack at The Causeway pub on Wilderspool Causeway this year.

Police say they believe the culprits may live nearby.

Anyone with information should call Stockton Heath Police on 101 or Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555111.

Find him. Make him go to the hospital and care for the wounded heroes for 6 months then lock him up and throw away the key. Alternatively chop his hands off to prevent him ever stealing again.

Annie 1275,I too hope they are caught, but, what punishment will they receive, community service,a slap on the wrist.I think you know as well as me the law is pathetic and punishment never reflects the crime.
