Snow is like a travellers funeral - it may look good but..............it causes large amounts of disruption, people find it annoying and the authorities do **** all about it!

A highways agency warning said anyone travelling in icy conditions should take a shovel, blankets, sleeping bag, extra clothing, including a scarf, hat, gloves, 24 hour supply of food and drink, de-icer, rock salt, torch, tow rope, petrol can, first aid kit and jump leads. I looked a right idiot on the bus this morning.

OK...what a stupid idea this is. Everybody knows, if its bad enough to warrant telling people, then whats the chances of a council official making it in to update the website. Oooooooo...idea.... just like in the schools, get all the lower paid staff do the work
