A UNIQUE set of paintings created by a Warrington artist are set to go on display in the town.
Tracy Hill was the winner of the 2011 Warrington Contemporary Arts Festival and launches her new show Terrains at The Gallery at Bank Quay House from today, Thursday.
Her work involves mapping journeys, and includes Warrington.
And she says she is especially interested in examining how much information is left off maps.
She added: “The main basis for the research is the exploration into the gaps between destinations, to look at maps and to find spaces that give the viewer the ability to wander off the path, to choose a new direction and chart our own discoveries.”
