Graphic designer Jenna makes national beauty final
9:20am Monday 21st January 2013 in News
WARRINGTON Guardian graphic designer Jenna Scottow has reached the final of a national beauty competition.
The 27-year-old will go for the Miss Galaxy England title on March 3 after sending in pictures that were picked out by judges.
Jenna said: “I entered for a laugh but I didn’t think they would pick me as I’m a bit older and probably not the normal type of entrant for this competition.
“I’m not skinny and I haven’t done any modelling before.”
But Jenna is no stranger to being in the public eye.
The Tulisa lookalike is a keen singer and has appeared in the semi-finals of Open Mic, and on the Xtra Factor.
If she wins the Miss Galaxy England title she hopes to use it to promote charity work.
But Jenna needs a sponsor for the competition to cover the £250 entry fee.
She says she will help any business willing to sponsor her during the competition.
“I’ve got an idea of how to promote a business so I will do whatever I can for any business that is willing to help me,” she added.

Wants a sponsor, why not pay herself with her earnings as an employed person or ask her employer to cover it? To take an ad of this size would cost more than the fee.
Finally what do the feminists out there think of this promotion of the female form keeping stereotypes alive?
