WARRINGTON has the second highest number of men getting treatment for impotence in the north west.

The findings from online clinic HealthExpress showed 160 men in the borough have sought help for the problem.

HealthExpress, the UK’s first online clinic, analysed the 15,268 consultations that men had sought last year for impotence treatment.

The results showed that Manchester was placed first in the league table of results from around the north west, with Warrington a close second.

Experts have warned that there could be a rise in impotence due to men suffering from an increase in stress and anxiety – caused by long working hours, home pressures and the recession.

Impotence is a common condition with studies showing that up to 33 per cent of men will suffer it at some point of their life.
