Drive through shopping at Tesco
SHOPPERS in Warrington have a new way to get their goods - as a drive-through supermarket has opened.
Tesco Extra on Winwick Road is offering a new service where residents can pick their shopping at tesco.com and then pick them up without leaving their cars.
Ian Crook, tesco.com marketing director, said: “We believe this will be especially popular with busy mums who have the school run and children’s activities to manage.
“It offers a convenient solution to parents who want to avoid the challenge of shopping in a busy store with children in tow but can’t afford the time to stay in for the shopping to arrive at their door.”
Meanwhile schoolchildren are being asked to design artwork for a special jute shopping bag to help promote the new service.

The spelling and punctuation is correct...
I wonder sometimes if English is the mother tongue of some of the denizens of the WG newsroom.
