Vigilantes back on stage thanks to Warrington Guardian
A BAND who reunited thanks to the Warrington Guardian have been back on stage in Warrington.
The vigilantes have reformed over the past year and played at The Famous King and Queen pub in Padgate.
The band rose to fame in the 1960s as part of the Merseybeat movement and performed their last gig at the Lion Hotel in Bridge Street in 1965.
They were well known in Warrington regularly playing Baths Hall, the Co-op Hall, Parr Hall and Bell Hall.
Now, the the surviving members have been reunited and in November, played their first gig in more than 45 years in St Helens.
