Former councillor promoted on Labour front bench

A FORMER Warrington Borough councillor has been promoted in a mini-reshuffle of the shadow Labour front bench.

Yvonne Fovargue, former Fairfield and Howley councillor and now Makerfield MP, joined the shadow front bench in October 2011 as a whip and is now shadow parliamentary under secretary of state for transport.

She accepted the offer after speaking to leader Ed Miliband on the telephone.

Presumably she wont be wearing the outfit in the photograph on the front bench.

She was actually a half decent Councillor for Howley the first one that ever seemed to get out and about and do things for the borough.

the current crop would do well to see where doing your job properly can actually get you........
