Second stage of Callands roadworks starts
THE traffic headache continues for residents as the second phase of resurfacing work on Callands Road begins today, Monday, between Lydbury Close and the Cromwell Avenue/ Westbrook roundabout.
Work will take place between 9am and 4.30pm when Callands Road will be closed and diversions will be in place.
Affected bus services include route 18 diverting along Cromwell Avenue and serving Callands Road from St David’s Drive to Lydbury Close and the 18A will not serve Callands Road at all.
The council said the roadworks, which are expected to take three weeks, has been split into stages to ‘maintain as much access as possible for residents’.
