FEARNHEAD based Galliford Try has been awarded the contract for a £100m PFI housing scheme in Manchester.
The builder will help transform the Brunswick area in east Manchester through the new build, refurbishment and management of more than 1,150 homes and community facilities over a 25 year period for client Manchester City Council.
The project will see Galliford Try build more than 500 new homes, an extra care centre and a mixed use retail development.
Repair and maintenance contractor Mears will refurbish a further 650 homes and provide a facilities management service as part of the regeneration scheme.
