POLICE are appealing for information after a 40-year-old woman had her handbag snatched by two men in Bewsey.
The victim was walking along Folly Lane when she was attacked, and pushed to the floor.
Police say her handbag was taken and the two men ran off towards Winwick Road.
She was left with cuts and grazes but did not require hospital treatment.
The incident took place at around 10pm on Monday, December 31.
The first man is described as white, about 5ft 11ins tall and of slim build. He wore a blue or black waterproof coat and black trousers.
The second man is described as white, about 5ft 4ins tall and of slim build. He wore a jacket and dark coloured trousers.
Anyone with information can call police on 101 quoting incident number 855 of December 31 2012.
