1:47pm Thursday 3rd January 2013 in News By Matthew Hobbs
A HIT and run victim knocked down in Orford spent Christmas in hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
The 42-year-old man has now been in hospital for more than two weeks after the incident on Monday, December 17.
Police say he suffered serious chest injuries after colliding with the car on Fisher Avenue at its junction with Long Lane at around 8.20pm.
His condition is improving.
The driver, in either a Ford Focus or Vauxhall Astra, failed to stop, according to officers. They are still appealing for witnesses.
Anyone with information can call police on 101 quoting incident number 912 of December 17.
