CSOs cook up a storm

CSOs at Stockton Heath Police Station made sure residents in Latchford got in the festive spirit.
Three officers organised a three-course Christmas dinner for residents from the Gainsborough Road area at St Werburgh’s Community Hub, on Boswell Avenue.
CSOs Tom Reid and Daren Dennis cooked up a storm with ingredients donated by Sainsbury’s Local on London Road and CSO Tony Spruce ran bingo games with prizes from the Coop store on Kingsway South.
CSO Reid said: “The new community hub is a great place for us to meet and engage with members of the community, it was fantastic to see so many enjoying themselves yesterday.”
The community hub will also re-open its weekly coffee morning today, Thursday between 10am and noon.
