LOOKING for a new challenge in the new year?
Crimestoppers wants to hear from you as they look for volunteers to join its Cheshire board.
The Cheshire Crimestoppers Board is responsible for running campaigns and generating funds to pay any rewards claimed by callers.
Terry Savage, chairman of the Cheshire Board, said: “Volunteering for Crimestoppers can be a very exciting and varied role. You may find yourself involved in organising a black-tie fundraising dinner, developing a publicity campaign to catch criminals in your area or promoting Crimestoppers’ services in the aftermath of a high-profile murder.
“Regardless of what you do, you will have the opportunity to use and develop your skills and experiences for the benefit of your local community.”
The board is looking for anyone with experience in business, networking, volunteer development, marketing, finance, young people’s issues or fundraising.
Board meetings are held four times a year in Winsford.
