Adrian donates presents to Warrington Hospital

STAFF and patients at Warrington Hospital’s children's ward were surprised on Christmas Day by a visit from Father Christmas.

He made the visit after a busy night of delivering gifts after Warrington Disability Partnership (WDP) donated their left over presents from their grotto to youngsters there.

WDP trustee Adrian Derbyshire also organised an extra special treat for the nurses on the ward and contacted Starbucks in Golden Square who donated mugs and coffee.

Adrian said: “Most of the staff didn't know that Santa was visiting, so when he turned up their faces just lit up and they were nearly as excited as the children were.

“It just shows that donating a little time, love and presents on Christmas Day can really make a difference to peoples lives.”
