A TOTAL of 74,273 people in the borough will have their taxes cut in April according to new research.

Warrington South MP David Mowat hailed the change brought in by the Government which will also see 3,500 lifted out of paying tax altogether with the amount an individual can earn before tax to £9,440.

The Government is also capping the amount one household can get in benefits and capping the amount benefits are increased next year which is opposed by Labour.

The Conservative MP said: “In Warrington, if you want to work hard and get on, the Conservatives are on your side. Your taxes will be cut so you keep more of the money you have earned. And we are capping the increase in benefits so that benefit increases don’t outstrip increases in earnings.

“Labour say they support a wage cap for hundreds of thousands of public sector workers, but they won’t support the same cap for those on out-of-work benefits. This isn’t fair and we will not let them bring back their something for nothing culture.”

The low paid who rely on tax credits to survive wont benefit by much,because the extra in the pay packet will reduce their working tax credits.Ok it might reduce the benefits bill but not really helping the millions of people in this country on NMW.

Anyone who believes in their propaganda nonsense about the welfare bill and the debt needs to wake up.

We are in this mess because of the banksters and the ruling elite who refuse to take responsibility for the global financial meltdown that THEY caused. Beneft fraud accounts for only 70p in every £100, despite the figures they claim, yet these filthy leaches think nothing in claiming exorbitant amounts in expenses and buying property out of tax payers money. The Conservatives don't give two ****s about anyone but themselves.

Grow a spine Mowat and demand your party go after the banking scum that caused this mess in the first place instead of allowing them to continually award themselves billions in bonuses which they do not deserve.

That's why they have done it,in the hope we kif it before we can draw our pension.Paying into the system for 60 years and not being able to enjoy retirement.
