Police appeal for Orford Road crash information

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a minor collision that saw one car drive off.

The incident took place at 5.10pm yesterday on Orford Road.

A Vauxhall Astra hit a Skoda approaching the roundabout to Birchwood Way.

The driver of the Astra then drove off without stopping.

Anyone with information can call police on 101 quoting incident 694 of December 19.

Typical WG, Orford road s nowhere near Birchwood, Dont they have any knowledge of Warrington.

They should have said crash near lights junction of orford rd and birch wood way I think... That is at the orford end of birchwood way.. WG don't at any point say the accident was in Birchwood .

i saw sum muppet trying to turn right onto birchwood way yesterday......when the right hand light was red.....then later on sum berk decided to turn right from winwick road onto long lane while the green light was only for traffic going straight up winwick road!!! pi11ocks!!! the repeater traffic light keeps getting moved around the lampost so u cant see it!!!! deffo the silly season for dangerous drivers

There is no roundabout at the junction orford road/birchwood way. All roundabouts are further up birchwood way.
