Get set for sprout Olympics

LOVE them or hate them, sprouts are a part of everyone’s Christmas.
And if you are looking for an alternative use before the big day, look no further than Warrington Museum.
On Saturday and Christmas Eve, staff wil be holding a sprout Olympics with visitors encourage to take part in sprout skittles, rolling sprouts, tossing sprouts into cups, decorating sprouts and lucky dip sprouts.
Derek Dick, museum manager, said: “It is hoped this will become an annual event and games will sprout up all over Warrington - sorry that was sproutrageous!”
The sessions run between 11am and 3pm.
