WORK to restore one of Warrington Museum’s most historic galleries is under way.
As previously reported in the Warrington Guardian, the bird gallery is being revamped into a Cabinet of Curitosities gallery, thanks to a £672,500 grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF).
Most of Warrington Museum will still be open for visitors whilst the works take place, apart from Galleries four, five and seven which will be closed until summer.
