THERE is just one week left to buy that extra Christmas present for someone who really needs it in Warrington.

The Warrington Guardian and BiG Storage have teamed up again for the annual toy appeal - donating to children who otherwise would have no present to open on Christmas Day.

And businesses who are located within the Manchester Road based BiG Storage have been generous in their donations.

Kevin Murphy, BiG Storage managing director, said: “A big thank you to the businesses and members of the community who are supporting the appeal.

“We would be grateful to receive donations from any business that manufactures or sells any product from toys to sports goods, or even computers and electronic goods that are appropriate for Christmas presents.”

The charities to benefit will be the NSPCC based in Warrington, The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust , Jacobs Unique Memory Pot (J-U-M-P), Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), St Josephs Family Centre, Grangeway Court Homeless Lodge and St Katherines Contact Centre.

Toys can be dropped off at BiG Storage, Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.30pm, Saturdays 9am to 4pm, and Sundays 10am to 2pm, Gullivers World, Camp Road, Old Hall and the Warrington Wolves Foundation at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.
