Body confirmed as missing Polish man
A BODY found in Winwick two weeks ago was today confirmed as missing Polish man Michal Chwesiuk.
Formal identification was completed on Tuesday by Cheshire Police.
His death is not being treated as suspicious with a file due to be prepared for the coroner.
Mr Chwesiuk was found on Old School House Lane in Winwick on Tuesday, November 13.
The 25-year-old, of Elliott Avenue, Padgate, was found at 9.10am.
He was last seen on Friday, November 2 leaving work at the Spirit restaurant in Victoria Park at 2.30pm.
His disappearance sparked a major police search with specialist units and air support scouring the town.
He was missing for nine days before being found dead.
It is not yet clear why he was found so far away from where he was last seen, or his home address.
