A BEDROOM entrepreneur from Appleton is hoping his new venture will be lucky for him.

Leon Neill has launched an online business selling high-end clothing under his own brand Lucky West.

The 43-year-old was inspired on a road trip along the west coast of America by the 50s American retro style and the old neon lights of Las Vegas which proved to be the breeding ground for his clothing idea.

Leon said: “I work in the food industry but for the past two years at nights and weekends I have been working on my own company.

“I’m starting with men’s T-shirts then when everything takes off I have already started the next range which will include polo shirts, sweatshirts and other items with a women’s line later on.

“My demographic is 16 to 30 something men who would normally shop at places like Abercrombie and Fitch or Hollister.”

And since the website went live four weeks ago his recognition is slowly building and he has even had a celebrity Twitter endorsement from TV chef Simon Rimmer.
