CHILDREN in Need donation calls handled by volunteers at BT’s Warrington call centre on Friday totalled more than £60,000.
Volunteers at the Gemini based centre took thousands of donation calls during the seven hour telephone programme.
BT handled more than 182,000 calls from viewers across the country during Friday’s BBC appeal show.
