THERE was another name to remember for the borough as the town turned out for the Remembrance Sunday service.
The family of Pte Daniel Wade, who died in action in March this year, joined other families and veterans who had lost loved ones at the service at the Cenotaph on Bridgefoot.
Pte Wade’s mum Lisa Billing was among those who left wreaths of poppies during the service to remember her son who died aged 20 after he was killed in Afghanistan along with five other soldiers after their armoured vehicle was caught in an explosion.
Also attending the ceremony was Bradley Green, the son of Kingsman Alex Green, who died while serving in Iraq in 2007. The Armed Forces community also turned out in numbers to mark the solemn occasion.
