Man has jaw broken during attack in Orford

POLICE are appealing for information following an assault in Orford that left a man with a broken jaw.

The 30-year-old victim was walking at the rear of shops on Greenwood Crescent when he was approached by two men.

One then punched him on the face, causing the injury. He was taken to Warrington Hospital for treatment.

The incident took place between 3 and 4am on Saturday, October 20.

Police say the first man is described as white, in his early 20s, about 5ft 10ins tall and of proportionate build.

He wore a white hooded tracksuit top with the hood up and dark coloured trousers.

The second man is described as white, in his early 20s, shorter than the first man with a bigger build.

He wore a white long-sleeved shirt and black trousers.

Anyone with information can call police on 101 quoting incident number 775 of October 20.

The estate and town will never Change its went nice and quiet for a thew years but it's all starting again,
