Talking bins come to town
IF you hear the voice of Amanda Holden or X Factor voiceover man Peter Dickinson when you dump your rubbish you must be doing it right.
For over the next four weeks Warrington will be home to four talking bins which deliver messages from famous faces every time you feed the bin.
The talking bins are part of Keep Britain Tidy’s ‘Love Where You Live’ campaign, which Warrington is an ambassador.
Clr David Keane, executive board member for environment and public protection, said: “We’re delighted to be an ambassador of the Love Where You Live campaign and hope these talking bins will really get the people of Warrington thinking twice before dropping litter on the floor.
“We need the support of the whole community to help clean up our streets.”
The bins will be in town from Monday.

Let us know when you have a bin that lasso's litter droppers and suspends them by the ankles for 12 hours - that would be newsworthy.
