A KEEN cyclist had celebrity support for his fundraising challenge after persuading Olympian Victoria Pendleton to sponsor him.
Steve Frith, from Higher Walton, met the gold medalist during a meet and greet event in Wilmslow before braving the wind and rain during the Manchester to Blackpool night bike ride.
The 57-year-old was fundraising for the British Heart Foundation despite recently having a false knee and hip fitted.
