Second man charged with Orford incidents

A SECOND man has been charged with a string of offences following incidents in Orford.

The 27-year-old, of Mortimer Avenue, has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking, possession of a bladed article, dangerous driving, affray and blackmail.

He is due to appear before Halton Magistrates’ Court on Monday, November 12.

The charges relate to two incidents on Saturday, September 29 on Mortimer Avenue and Battersby Lane.

Police have not released any details of what happened.

Ryan Jarvis, aged 27, of Willis Street, Howley, has already been charged in relation to the incident.

He will next appear at Warrington Crown Court on January 14, according to police.
