More roadworks to take place in town centre
COMMUTERS in the town centre will face another headache on Monday as resurfacing work takes place on Bold Street.
The road will be closed from Sankey Street to Suez Street between the hours of 8.30am and 5pm and will affect the junctions with Palmyra Square North, Egypt Street, Suez Street and Palmyra Square South until Wednesday.
Diversions will be signposted and there will be pedestrian access.
The council said it apologises for any disruption caused.
