WARRINGTON Wolves have been hit with injuries as well as bowing out of the Challenge Cup.
Full back Stuart Reardon has ruptured his Achilles' tendon and looks set to miss the rest of the season.
Paul Johnson has collected knee ligament damage and is unlikely to figure in Wolves' clash against Wigan Warriors at the JJB Stadium on Friday.
And Chris Riley, who came off the bench to replace Reardon at full back, has injured his ankle ligaments.
Martin Gleeson was a late withdrawal from the game due to the effects of a virus.
Rob Parker was a surprise absentee from the 17 and it was later revealed he has a rib injury.

John-yicker wrote:what all those plastic scousers will come to realise over the next 10 years is that penny is only a kid and all these mistakes now are building up his experience bank, make no mistake so long as the wolves fans don't hound him out of the HJ he will punish the scousers over and over during the next decade. Was pleased to see riley given the full back role as opposed to moving hicks there once reardon got hurt, for the same reason as above building his experience, he is not the england U17 fullback because he is useless and blooding him in the big games will build his confidence. So John-yicker don't you be worrying about the scousers heckling young penny, doesn't seem like it right now whilst we're all hurting but a decade is a long time KP will have the last laugh.
If we had a fully fit squad i think Penny mite have a spent a game in the reserves to learn his missing basic skills. gutted for him he has the ability but can t ever go to stains without a load of heckling from the scousers.

You are a bitter man Coops as many of you are. Well done today though, all in all the players did their club proud, pity people like you can't display a little more grace in defeat. God knows you've had enough practise.
Firts through the gates next week with their boots will get a game think. Gutted for Reardon and Johnson both were playing well today, johnson especially. Shame the ref didn't see the ball steal with 2 in the tackle when he sustained his injury. Speedy recover to all the injured players
