| Mum-to-be Kerry Katona was taken to hospital yesterday |
KERRY Katona was rushed to hospital yesterday over concerns that she had the potentially fatal condition pre-eclampsia.
The Warrington-born reality TV star was taken to a hospital in Macclesfield after she had complained of pain in her swollen legs.
There were concerns that the 27-year-old had the dangerous condition that affects mums-to-be, which can kill both mother and baby.
It also leads to soaring blood pressure, swelling and sudden weight gain.
But doctors have today told Kerry that she does not have the killer condition as they feared and she is instead suffering from water retention and a low iron count.
The dramatic hospital dash comes just days after the star of the Iceland TV ads left the Priory after receiving treatment for depression. Filming of her MTV series Kerry Katona: Crazy In Love was suspended during her stint in the clinic.
She spent the night in hospital being monitored and a spokesman for Kerry's PR man Max Clifford said that they were not sure when she would be able to leave hospital.
The spokesman added: "It was a precaution that had to be taken."

Lynda thats good of you to think of Kerry, who thinks of her baby when she throws wine and cigarette smoke down her throat ? Whilst it is good for her and more importantly her unborn child they are ok this woman just doesn't help herself, watch her show to see the proof. lets just hope the babies ok as for people having a go at her if she wasnt in our faces all the time then we wudnt bother.have you seen her tv show o the shame.she admitted to smoking 20 fags a day whilst pregnant discusting women.

she doesnt care about her unborn baby other wise she would stop drinking and smoking ive meet her a number of time with her being related to my sister in law and she is as common as muck and loves being in the lime light even though she says she doesnt.

yeah well if u smoke and drink whilst pregnant knowing that your baby could be born with a low birth weight, addicted to alcohol an drugs etc its just wrong.

Firstly,to lynda, there are many adult literacy classes available in Warrington , your grammar could be greatly inmproved. Secondly, I am so tired of hearing and reading about Kerry Katona.Why is she classed as a celebrity? I once read a comment she made in a magazine saying how she couldn't wait to get out of Warrington, well Kerry,I think the majority of Warrington people are glad to see the back of you. You are an embarrassment to the town
