Louis called to hearing
Louis Anderson
Louis Anderson

LOUIS Anderson could be suspended for Saturday's home match against Harlequins after being summoned to a disciplinary hearing for an incident during the Good Friday clash with Huddersfield.

Anderson was sent to the sin bin after a late tackle on kicker Kevin Brown and he will now attend an RFL hearing in Leeds tomorrow, Wednesday, after the video panel reviewed the incident and categorised it as a grade C alleged strike with the forearm.

Such an offence is thought to result in a punishment of anything between no further action and a four-match ban.

It was the third time Anderson had been sent to the sin bin this year - a fact that is likely to increase his chances of a suspension.

Huddersfield's Luke Robinson has also been summoned to a hearing after a grade B alleged trip during the same match.

Yes Louis' discipline is suspect. Needs to improve quickly!

Don't think Louis is guilty of much more than running into Brown, as for Robinsons trip, absolutely blatent! that used to be an automatic early bath as the late great Eddie Waring used to say. Now I am showing my age. NOW THE WIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Louis needs the warning early on while we can afford the players, it may give the youngsters a chance other teams are giving.

Okay some of his challenges may be suspect but he's a hard player! I cannot believe that fans are agreeing that he should have a suspension, in the cas game he created one and scored the winner...no disrespect to the younger players but its experience thats needed.

There was nothing in the challenge made on Brown. He was "up and at em" 30 seconds later! There are many challenge's like this every week. The decision should be "no further action" given the recent decisions ie Mathers, Barratt and Gene. However, he is a rough tough forward and maybe a word in his shell may help in the long run.
