Parkonians 10 Eagle 34.
EAGLE scored 26 unanswered points in the second half after subduing Parkonians' forward strength in Saturday's Euromanx South Lancashire/Cheshire Three rugby union clash.
The front row of Mike Bridge, Mike Taylor and Iwan Evans set the tone for the game and never took a backwards step.
Parkonians scored first from a line-out with a forwards drive but Eagle replied almost immediately with good possession from a line-out leading to Danny Cahill going over.
The Parkionians pack scored again with five minutes to go to half time and Eagle added a penalty but trailed 10-8 at the break.
Eagle did not panic and stuck firm to the game plan.
As Parkionans started to tire, Eagle started to flow and let their backs fly, with Chris Taylor crossing for three tries.
Eagle: Mike Bridge, Mike Taylor, Iwan Evans, Craig Tourney, Tom Cahill, Grant Lack-Jones, Jack Banczyk, Andy Brown, Louis Smith, John Whelan, Danny Shaw, Chris Taylor, Danny Cahill, Liam Jenkinson, Andrew Giblin, Luke Stacey, Pete Eden.
